Academic Programs
Jeffco Virtual Academy’s unique programming gives students flexible options on how they want to interact with the school: full time, part time or on an accelerated basis in the later grades to meet graduation requirements.
Jeffco Virtual Academy classes are asynchronous with schoolwork due on a weekly basis.
Asynchronous vs. Synchronous
With asynchronous education, students complete coursework on their own schedule, within a certain timeframe.
Synchronous education means students complete coursework with teachers and classmates at a scheduled time.
Students who are interested in synchronous classes can explore Jeffco’s other online school, the Jeffco Remote Learning Program.
Full-Time Program
JVA offers full-time enrollment for grades 7-12 with accredited classes. All classes are asynchronous.
Part-Time Program
Jeffco students have the flexibility to take asynchronous courses at JVA on a part-time basis.

Many students who are interested in taking specialized career and technical education courses at Warren Tech choose Jeffco Virtual Academy as their home school to allow for greater flexibility in their schedules.
