Counseling
The Jeffco Virtual Academy Counseling Department believes all students can achieve academic success at high levels through a flexible blended model. A comprehensive and systemic guidance program is an integral part of the total education program that supports all students in their academic, personal-social and career development needs.
Our mission is to meet students at their current level and provide resources and tools for them to develop a strong foundation for a successful future.
Counseling opportunities, including academic, career and social-emotional guidance are provided for students in individual, small group and classroom settings. Counselors meet weekly with JVA teams, facilitating communication among students, teachers, administration and families about students' needs.
JVA staff are available to students and families for telephone, virtual and in-person conferences to address specific concerns. Appointments are encouraged so that we may better address your needs.
