Please Note: All students who apply for enrollment after August 28 will be waitlisted

Families who might be interested in enrolling in Jeffco Virtual Academy should read these Important considerations: 

  • All classes are asynchronous with work due weekly
  • Families cannot be enrolled in another district and must promptly complete the enrollment process after applying.
  • See program details for other requirements:

Steps for Enrollment 

  1. Apply at EnrollJeffco
  2. Screening and approval – course requests are reviewed
  3. Tutorial course – students complete the “Intro to JVA”
  4. Enrollment meeting – full-time applicants only
  5. Offer of enrollment – sent for acceptance from EnrollJeffco after steps are complete

Then families are enrolled and scheduled. An email confirmation is sent with steps to get started.

Enrollment Timeline

Round Two Enrollment for 2024-25 School Year

  • January 18-August 30, 2024: If you did not take action in Round 1, your student will be enrolled at their projected school for the 2024-25 school year. To view their current enrollment, apply to another school during the Round 2 enrollment window, or view your application status or results, please login to EnrollJeffco.

Enrollment Timeline for the 2025-26 School Year

  • December 3, 2024: Round 1 enrollment window for the 2025-26 school year opens
  • January 17, 2025: Round 1 enrollment window for the 2025-26 school year closes
  • January 23, 2025: Round 2 enrollment for the 2025-26 school year opens 
  • January 28, 2025: Lottery results sent to families
