More Reasons Families Choose JVA
- Classes are not self-paced. Students are given access to new material and due dates each week.
- Classes are asynchronous. Students complete coursework on their own schedule, within a weekly timeframe. See Programs for virtual and in-person expectations.
- Students complete standardized testing with their full-time school. Some tests must be proctored at JVA.
- We offer full-time (four or more classes) and part-time (one to three classes) options.
- Classes are available 24/7 during the quarter.
- Teachers are highly qualified and work eight hours on school days between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
- JVA follows the same Jeffco calendar and policies.
- Courses are accredited as Jeffco Public Schools credit and assist students in meeting Jeffco's high school graduation requirements.
- There are no school fees or tuition with the exception of summer programs, optional activities and yearbook and district fees. Financial assistance may be available.
