JVA Add / Drop Policy for Quarters 1 & 2, 2024:
Quarter 1 Course Add Information:
August 30: last day to add a course with counselor, Administrator and/or teacher approval
Quarter 1 Course Drop Information:
August 15-August 30: drop with no record of course on transcript/grade report
September 1-September 20: drop results in a WP or WF (Withdraw Pass or Withdraw Fail) on the transcript/grade report
September 21 and beyond: students cannot drop a class during this time frame and the grade earned for the course will appear on the transcript
If you need to add or drop a course, please contact your JVA counselor. If you drop a course, usually that means you need another course in its place to have a full schedule of courses. JVA cannot guarantee add and drop schedule change requests.
Quarter 2 Add/Drop Information:
JVA cannot add or drop a course for Quarter 2. Please contact your JVA counselor with questions.
English Language Arts
