Don’t fool yourself – skimming and skipping content doesn't pay off! It just ends up taking more time and causes unnecessary stress. Watch the video to see how to submit work.

It’s important to remember that good learning strategies are the same for all learning environments. Students should still take effective notes and print school work to occasionally do work by hand.

School supplies will vary depending on the classes students are taking and how they decide to personalize their work environment. Teachers will outline specific supplies needed in the course syllabus. Classes are available in Schoology on the first day of the quarter.

Required: 

• Fully functional Windows, Mac or Chromebook – iPads and smartphones should not be used as your primary resource
• Chromebooks are always available on campus
• There are loaner laptops for those who qualify through the free- and reduced-price program (contact the JVA office for qualifying paperwork)
• Access to a fully functional printer, scanner and digital camera
• Dependable Internet connection
• Supportive work environment
