National Honor Society empowers and equips students with the knowledge and skills to be transformative leaders in school, community and beyond.
About NHS
JVA National Honor Society Membership for the JVA National Honor Society opens each fall to JVA sophomores, juniors, and seniors. To be eligible to join, students must:
- Have attended JVA as a full-time student for at least one semester prior to applying.
- Have a 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average.
- Write a letter demonstrating how they meet the Four Pillars of the NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
As members of the NHS, students meet virtually to plan both a group service project and an individual service project. Our chapter members are active leaders in the school community and are always welcoming to new members.
